Hospital to join Health Information Exchange Program

Rural asthma study launching in the Midwest
This month, Madisonbased Reciprocal Sciences, with funding from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is launching a study to learn more about the problem of rural asthma in the Midwest. The study follows a recent report by the CDC that rates of asthma in rural areas have been underestimated. Full Story

“Real” Irish music featured at Cascade
The renowned Irish band The HiBs
will visit Cook County next week as part of the St. Patrick’s Day festivities at Cascade Lodge.
Lodge owner Maureen O’Phelan said the group will perform from 6 to 9 p.m. on March 12 and 13. They will play “rock solid, first-rate traditional music,” she said. Full Story
