questionable credibility will not be published or acknowledged.

I read with interest the details of the recent Grand Marais Park Board meeting and review of the options for the park. Although my family and I are not residents of Grand Marais, it is where I grew up. I realize that "times are a changin" and economics and the reality of just making things work often dictate a course of action. Full Story
From '49 to '09
Congratulations to the graduating class of 2009 from the class of 1949. We are celebrating our 60th year class reunion this summer on Aug. 1. When we graduated in 1949 the school was called Grand Marais High School. Our class motto was "There is one proof of our ability — Action." Our class colors were silver and blue, our flower was a white rose. Full Story

I just read the article regarding the Grand Marais Recreation Park master plan meeting and I just wanted to correct a quote of something I said. Richard Olson was rambling on about a "mobile home park" which is different from an RV park and campground. Full Story
IRR or IRRRB or something else entirely?
The word everyone at the IRRRB and Lutsen Mountains Corporation (LMC) would like to avoid is "rehabilitation," but as state representatives have told me, the IRRRB cannot legally do that. Full Story
