When I had my birthday last September, the most unusual gift I received from a parishioner was a subscription to the Sunday New York Times.
This has been a wonderful gift. The Sunday New York Times
is so big that it takes me Sunday afternoon, Sunday night, Monday evening, and sometimes part of Tuesday to get through it all. Full Story

ยท Dec. 13, 1999 • TheGrand Marais City Council voted unanimously to pay for the videotaping of Cook County board meetings. The taping will be done by PAC- 13’s Holly Nelson. Nelson’s proposal asked for $100 per month to tape the meetings, and $25 per copy to be left at the library for public use. Full Story
