Playhouse a very busy place
Grand Marais Playhouse is a major hub of activity this month. First up, Theater
Sports
at 7p.m. on March 16 at the Arrowhead Center for the Arts. This is improvisational theater with a competitive sports angle. Audience participation is very important. The public is invited to come cheer on the high school students as they perform in this show. Thisevent is fun for all. Full Story

Down Memory Lane

The stone gateway near the Grand Marais Public Library that claims to be the entrance to the Gunflint Trail has steered quite a few BWCA-bound tourists up the wrong street, but over the years people have become quite accustomed to it being there. What is old is now new
We all know that fashions come and go—corduroys out, ragged jeans in, tank tops out, retro T-shirts in. I am still waiting for kerchiefs and bell-bottoms to make their comeback. You laugh, but I am guessing within the next three years or so we’ll all be touting folded bandanas on our heads and sewing fabric to the bottom of our jeans. Full Story
