Spring Fever at the Care Center
The residents at North Shore Care Center have “Spring Fever” – just like everyone else. Our early spring weather has lifted spirits and there are lots of activities planned for April. There will be Lenten and Easter services, traditional hot cross buns, coloring eggs, spring crafts, indoor gardening, and of course some April Fool’s jokes and trivia. Full Story
Theater sports competition wacky and fun
Patrons young and old packed the Arrowhead Center for the Arts (ACA) on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 to witness—and to some extent take part in—the 5th annual College in the Schools theater sports competition.

An enthusiastic crowd cheered for their favorite cars at the Pinewood Derby, held Saturday, March 20, 2010 in the basement of St. John’s Catholic Church in Grand Marais. The cars were not only fast, they were works of art because of the unique carving and painting performed by the Scouts. Full Story
