When I was growing up in Schroeder there wasn’t a whole lot to do during the summer months and there was no way Mom was going to let us loaf on the couch all day watching TV. Before I became a big fan of reading, I spent lots of time outside playing in the woods that surrounded our house. These woods were the best place to play because they were full of treasures.
