Vikings lose three on the road, now 4-7 on the season
The Cook County baseball team had a tough week of competition losing three straight Polar League match-ups. The week started with a 7-5 loss to Silver Bay. Thenext day the Vikings traveled to Moose Lake where they were thumped 19-4. In the week’s final contest, Cook County traveled to Esko and lost 7-3. The Vikings now have a 4-7 record with five regular season games remaining. Full Story

The Cook County softball team had a busy week of action, playing in four games over seven days. The Vikings first traveled to Silver Bay where they were rudely greeted with a 0-14 loss. Thenext day Cook County traveled to Moose Lake where they lost 0-10 in five innings of play. In their third road trip in four days, the Vikings lost to Esko, 4-15. Full Story
