Vikings lose to Polar Bears and Cardinals
The Cook County baseball team dropped two games last week to bring its overall season record to 4-9. On Monday, May 10, the Vikings lost 11-10, in an extra-inning heartbreaker at home against the Floodwood Polar Bears. Cook County then traveled to Cotton the next day and came up short, losing 9-6 to the Cardinals. Full Story

Where are the fish biting?
By most accounts, the opening of fishing 2010 was slow. However, the poor fishing reports have been unanimously followed by the declaration that it was a great weekend to be out on the water!
