• Dave and Krishna Woerheide of Border Designs in Lutsen have volunteered to repaint the bear sign at the Gunflint Trail entrance in Grand Marais. The city donated the paint and the Woerheides will donate the labor. The sign has fallen into disrepair in recent years. Full Story

Picnic Time at the Care Center
Picnic season is in full swing at North Shore Care Center. On June 21, residents enjoyed a fishcake picnic on the patio—thanks to good weather and Marion McKeever, who prepared 140 fishcakes. Residents also enjoyed a picnic at the Grand Marais Recreation Park and look forward to more picnics this summer. Full Story
