Sarah Groth earns dean’s list honors
Sarah Groth of Grand Marais has been named to the 2010 spring quarter dean’s list at Rasmussen College Brooklyn Park for achieving a 3.58 gradepoint average. In addition, Sarah was named to the dean’s list in the early fall, fall and winter (when she received an Honors Award for her 4.0 grade-point average) quarters. Full Story

Peck travels to Skogfjorden
Jack Peck, 9, son of Darren and Annalisa Peck of Tofte, was recently issued a passport, exchanged his U.S. currency for Norwegian, adopted a new name, and spent a week where everyone speaks nothing but Norwegian. The young man from Tofte didn’t travel to Scandinavia—but he certainly got a taste of Norway at the Concordia Language Village Skogfjorden in Bemidji, MN. Full Story
