As of August 19, 2010, the blueberries were still abundant in burned-over areas up the GunflintTrail. Cara Edwards of Croftville said she picked about a gallon in two hours. “I was amazed at how many there were,” she said. “There were as many as you wanted to pick.” She brought in this photo of bear scat (above) filled with blueberries.
