Healthy fun and prizes at Health & Wellness Fair

Staff photo/Rhonda Silence The Early Childhood Coalition’s Health and Wellness Fair at the Cook County Fair on Saturday, August 21 was very well-attended, with dozens of families stopping by a number of booths to learn about services for children in the community. Attendees had a card stamped after visiting the various stations and then cards were entered in a drawing for a number of terrific prizes.

Organizer Lynn Sheils expressed appreciation to all of the Early Childhood Coalition members for their hard work setting up the Health and Wellness Fair. She added, “Thank you to Eleanor Waha for assisting with the prize drawing.”
