On August 31st, the sisters of Tom Hicks (Naomi and Sarah) along with friend Perihan and his cousin Chuck stopped in to present a plaque and a donation of over $12,000 in honor of Tom Hicks' legacy as a chef at Lutsen for 43 years. The donation will support the culinary arts program at Cook County High School and scholarships for students that pursue an education and career in culinary arts. Cook County Schools is incredibly grateful for this generous donation and thanks the many, many friends and family members of Tom Hicks who donated to this fund in honor of his legacy.
