Roy Donald Lindskog was born May 12, 1940. He died on June 11, 2025 at the age of 85, in Florida.

He grew up on Maple Hill in Grand Marais. His parents were Henry and Mabel Lindskog. He has 2 sons, Rory Lindskog and Zach Lindskog.

While living in Grand Marais he was a truck driver and heavy equipment diesel mechanic. He worked for Hedstrom Lumber. After leaving Grand Marais he lived several years in Nevada before moving to Washington. Eventually he made his way to Florida, near his brother Dale, and lived in his niece’s RV park and helped them with many of their odd jobs.

He loved to entertain while playing his guitar and singing.

He died in Live Oak, Florida.

He is survived by his sons Rory and Zack, brother Chester Lindskog, sister Lorraine McDonald, Grandchildren Teresa Lindskog, Tiffany Criddle and his great grandchildren.

He was proceded in death by his granddaughter Elizabeth, his parents, his brothers, Roland Saethre, Olive Brugge, Eleanor Waha, Lyle Saethre, Dale Saethre, Irene Thompson, Carolyn Engebretson and Russell Lindskog.

He is buried at Maple Hill Cemetery.
