SHERRY CREGO

 Sherry Lynn Crego, 68, of Cook, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, surrounded by family.
 She was born June 16, 1957, in Cook, Minnesota, to John and Barbara (Matts) Gustafson. On February 14, 1975, she married David Crego, and together they raised three daughters. Over the years, Sherry worked in a variety of roles, including at the VFW, Cook Hospital, and Reptron. She loved storms, stargazing with her grandchildren, gardening, and knitting, but most of all she treasured time with her family and friends.
 Sherry is survived by her daughters, Melissa (James) Friederichs, Dawn Kehoe, and Carrie (Erik) Brown; six grandchildren; four siblings; and many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, David; her parents; two siblings; and her son-in-law.
 A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Cook VFW.
