On Wednesday, September 11, William Check was busy working on a painting for the Plein Air Grand Marais 2024 contest. Sponsored by Outdoor Painters of Minnesota and hosted by the Cook County Historical Society’s Johnson Heritage Post Art Gallery, , the contest winners will be noted at a reception held on Friday, September 13, that will be held at Up Yonder, a gathering that will foster a sense of community among art enthusiasts and fans of these talented artists.
