A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held last Friday for the City of Grand Marais Overlook Landing, a community connection to the rec park and Lake Superior that was 15 years in the planning. The design of this connection was deeply influenced by the art of the late George Morrison, a renowned Grand Portage artist. A plaque dedicated to him now stands on the site, a testament to his lasting impact on our community. Cutting the ribbon is George's son, Briand Morrisson.
