Ruth Busta passed away peacefully on Monday, Sept. 16, at Trails of Orono Hospice.

Marland I. Hansen, 85, of Lutsen died Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at North Shore Health in Grand Marais.

Robert R. “Bob” Olson, 79, of Grand Marais Minnesota died Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at North Shore Health in Grand Marais.

Bruce Todd Kerfoot was born December 13, 1938 to Justine and Bill Kerfoot. He passed away unexpectedly on October 10, 2024 at the age of 85.

George R. Munkwitz, age 98, passed away peacefully at Maplewood Nursing Home on Sept.

Elger Horst Lorenzsonn, MD passed away in his Stillwater, MN home on July 26, 2024, due to complications from cancer. Elger was born in West Germany on January 29, 1947 to Edgar and Vilja (Nettelhorst) Lorenzsonn, and their family of five emigrated to the U.S.

Kay Grindland, 66, of Grand Marais, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2024, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones, after a courageous yearlong battle with pancreatic cancer. Her family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate healthcare professionals and community members who supported her throughout her journey.
