Nancy Ellen Lindquist (née Gunderson), died peacefully at her home in Saddlebrooke Arizona on May 27th, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. She was 91 years old.

Irene Anna (Allen) Peterson passed away peacefully at the age of 104 on Wednesday May 28, 2025, at North Shore Living.

Leslie Jerome Donek of Grand Marais, Minnesota, passed away peacefully with family by his side at North Shore Health on May 25, 2025 at 10:40 or 10-4 in trucker talk. What joy in heaven when he was reunited with Sheila.

Wayne Hensche, age 76, of Grand Marais, MN. passed away on November 24, 2024. He was born September 16, 1948, to Ernest and Gertrude Hensche, of a farm family in southern Minnesota. Early years were in a one room schoolhouse, pitching hay bales with cousins and siblings on neighboring dairy farms, savoring homemade bread, glazed dinner rolls, and apple smoked sausage.

Arlene Charmae Shilts passed away May 27, 2025, at Essentia Health in Duluth, MN at the age of 89 years old.

Darrin Olin Christianson beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family after a short battle with esophageal cancer on April 29, 2025.

Shirley Mae (Sobczak) Anderson, 87, of Prescott, Arizona, went to meet our Father in Heaven on April 30, 2025. Born December 26, 1937 in Kettle River, Minnesota. Shirley married Dale Anderson on December 31, 1954, in Moose Lake, Minnesota. They moved to Grand Marais, Minnesota, in 1954, where they raised seven children on Maple Hill on the Gunflint Trail.

Mark Thomas Abrahamson, RN, 70, of Grand Marais, MN, passed away on April 30th 2025, at his home on Good Harbor Hill.
