North House Offices Move Across Hwy 61 Community Open House Sept. 19th
On Monday morning, you may have noticed carts of computers and filing cabinets moving across Highway 61 as the North House administrative offices moved from the Green Building. The new offices are above the Milling Shop, accessed by stairs behind the new Welcome Center.
Crosby Bakery opens to great fanfare

Author Marcie Rendon will discuss her new book of poetry Anishinaabe Songs for a New Millennium at Drury Lane
Minnesota author Marcie Rendon will be at Drury Lane Books in Grand Marais, on Saturday, September 7, at 6 p.m. and Zenith Books in Duluth, MN on Sunday, September 8 at 4 p.m., to read from and discuss her new book of poetry Anishinaabe Songs for a New Millennium (University of Minnesota Press, PUB DATE: July 16, 2024). At the Duluth event, Rendon will be in conversation with musician and cultural educator Lyz Jaakola.
