Book Signing at Drury Lane
Cary Griffith will be at Drury Lane Book Store on Friday, February 16, at 6 p.m. to discuss his latest book 'Gunflint Falling.' In these 280 pages, Griffith recounts the events that took place on July 4, 1999, when a wicked straight-line wind (a Derecho) came unexpectedly out of North Dakota and flattened an estimated 477,000 Acers of forest, approximately 370,000 Acers in the Boundary Waters Canoe Ares Wilderness, and uprooted or broke an estimated 25 million trees.
