Lutsen Trailbreakers received a grant that will help finance the building of a washed-out snowmobile bridge

On Thursday, November 16, Polaris Inc. (NYSE: PII) announced it was giving donations of more than $100,000 to off-road vehicles (ORV), all-terrain vehicles (ATV), and snowmobile organizations across the United States and Canada as a part of its TRAILS GRANTS program.

Let’s make some toys!

This month, area libraries will be offering Handmade Toy Take & Create Art Kits as the Arrowhead Library System’s (ALS) newest Legacy event, available December 4-30. This art experience, created by 321 Art Studio, explores toy making for beginners.

Down Memory Lane

20 YEARS AGO NOVEMBER 14, 2003 v Great Expectations Charter School opened its doors on Tuesday, the first day back from a scheduled break for the 44 students who attend the newly-formed school. The new building, which is on the corner of the new Gunflint Trail and Fifth Street, features a large common area, four light and airy classrooms, one of which will be used as a library, and a kitchen and administrative offices.
