A.M. Anderson, long associated with banking in Grand Marais, received a bronze plaque at the annual convention of the Minnesota Bankers association at Minneapolis last week. The plaque reads: “This testimonial in recognition of fifty years of banking service to his community and state.”

The late Clarence J. Krotz, a legend in these parts, was honored with a significant milestone in his aviation career. On Saturday, April 12, his remarkable contributions were recognized as he was inducted into the prestigious Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame during a ceremony at the Mystic Lake Center in Prior Lake.
