First & Second Thrift Store donates to Ukraine
The First & Second Thrift Store has donated carloads of fleece and winter jackets to Ukraine through Dave Nonnemacher.

Grand Marais Library receives an unexpected donation
Grand Marais Public Library Director Amanda St. John pleasantly surprised the Library Board with the news that the library had received an unexpected gift of $11,400 from the Friends of the Library, a voluntary group that supports the county’s libraries.

County board April 8 meeting
Arvis Thompson appeared before the commissioners during the public comment period on Tuesday, April 8. She thanked them for using the public process to hire a new county administrator and asked them to use this process again on the second try.
