Cook County Law Enforcement Briefs
It is the policy of the Cook County News-Herald to withhold individuals' identification in Cook County Law Enforcement briefs. When court processes are complete, the Cook County News-Herald publishes a full accounting of names and penalties in its Matters of Record.
HUB HAPPENINGS
âI am more motivated to stay fit when I exercise in a group. I love being with friends who have similar goals,â said a recent participant in a group class at the Hub. Many would agree it is often more difficult to accomplish things alone! The Senior Center offers three free classes focusing on both exercise and mind connection. Apparently, there is a need for low impact activities as evidence by those who attend activities on a weekly basis.



Wacky winter weather
Winter arrived right on cue this year, with a sprinkle of snow in October and a good bit more in November. The amount wasn't quite as much as we initially thought, or was predicted, but it was enough to kick off the winter activities we all love. The temperatures dropped, the lakes froze over, and we were all set for some ice fishing and skating. And then, just when we thought we had it all figured out, the rain came.
