Where have all the flowers gone

I had this song in my head. I whistled it through this morning at work. Whistling is important to me. I get that from my great-grandfather, who blew nothing but air and an unknown tune. I used to do that too. But now, after half a century of making it important and practicing, I'm fairly fair.

A correction needed

An article published last week regarding Dean Berglund who is running for 4th District Commissioner, mentioned that he sits on the Board of the Cook County Coalition of Lake Associations and that he is the President of the Devil Track Lake Association. Neither of these are true. I have been the CCCoLA Chair for the past 2 years and been a member for 3. Dean hasn’t attended a CCCoLA meeting or been on the Board during this time. Our minutes, published on our website, indicate that he attended 1 meeting in 2019, but there is no further record of his participation in our organization. Jerry Wilkes is the Devil Track Lake Association President and represents the DTLA on the CCCoLA Board.
