On July 20, 2024, Gerald ‘Jerry’ Donald Linnell peacefully birthed into spirit at home. Jerry was born and raised in Grand Marais until he graduated from business school. Upon his graduation he moved to Washington DC to begin his career in court reporting. Jerry spent 32 years in the United States Senate and was loved and respected by all. Memorial service will be held on August 3, 2024 at Messiah United Methodist Church in Taneytown with a second service in Grand Marais to be determined at a later date.
