Ed Hedstrom made this replica of the last pusher tug/ barge used to take wood across East Bearskin Lake. The tug/barge operated from 1936 to 1940 and was powered by either an eight-cylinder Buick or Pontiac engine for power. Hedstrom Lumber Company used the barge to transport wood from the East Bearskin logging camp and then trucked the wood to their mill. Staff photo Brian Larsen
