After serving 23 years, 22 of those years as the Schroeder Fire Chief, Phil Bonin retired from the Schroeder Fire Department on April 1, 2025. The Schroeder Board of Supervisors recognized and thanked Chief Bonin for his many years of service and wished him a happy retirement. Cody DeWandeler will serve as the new Schroeder Fire Chief.
