Work on the Overlook Landing leading to the Rec Park and lake shore is going very well. With most of the cement work done the next step will be to get the surround up featuring artwork inspired by the late Grand Portage artist George Morrison. Also planned for at a later date will be a story board or a kiosk detailing Morrison’s long and storied career as a top American artist and teacher. Staff photos Brian Larsen
