With heartfelt sadness, we share the passing of Roberta “Bobbie” Phillips, who left us peacefully on April 25th at the age of 82.

Born on August 11, 1942, in Grand Marais, Minnesota, Bobbie brought joy and laughter wherever she went. She had a warm, adventurous spirit and a quick wit that kept everyone on their toes. Bobbie had a way of making people feel instantly at ease—whether through

her playful humor, her big heart, or her ability to find joy in the little things. She loved deeply, laughed often, and had a true gift for making others feel special.

Bobbie is survived by her beloved husband, James, their two sons, Robert (Maureen) and Greg (lisa), and her treasured grandchildren, Lauren and Nicholas Phillips and two great grandchildren, Leo and Savannah. Her love for her family was at the center of everything she did, and her presence will be missed beyond words. We will be holding a celebration of life picnic on August 16th at 1:00 PM at 23 NorthStar Trail, Grand Marais, MN (the cabin). We would be honored for you to join us as we remember Bobbie and celebrate the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
