Conservation Officer Tales

Although the Cook County News-Herald knows that the majority of sportsmen and women are law-abiding folks, there are a few that run afoul of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Conservation Officers. Superior National Forest solicits campground concessionaires

On Monday, July 17, Thomas, Hall-Superior National Forest Supervisor announced the solicitation of proposals for campground concession Special Use Permit for numerous campgrounds and recreation areas on the Superior National Forest. Selected concessionaire permits issued would be for providing high-quality public services through operating and maintaining government- owned recreation facilities.
