The holiday celebration runs through Monday, July 31. Joynes, The Big Lake, Java Moose and other businesses around town joined the Gunflint Mercantile in the July Christmas celebration. This beautiful creature is Clio, and she was Jane Burley’s wonderful companion during their years together on the big lake in Croftville. Clio was gentle, playful, and curious. Jane Burley named Clio after the Greek Goddess Muse of History and Poetry.
