Benson noted that during recent storms a lot of trees have come down across the city, so this new initiative might be a good fit for Grand Marais to apply for.

Brian Larsen Citing rising costs throughout the system, on August 24 the North Shore Health hospital board voted to raise the levy from $1,500,000 to $1,725,000 for 2024, an increase of $225,000 over last year. The increase is the result of two main factors said Hospital Director/ CEO Kimber Wraalstad.
