Wondering ‘61

Not the opera you expect Along with 100 plus others, I really enjoyed Romeo & Juliet at Sweetheart’s Bluff on August 27th. The Pickup Truck Opera company of Mixed Precipitation put together operatic arias with Fleetwood Mac and other music genres with high energy and creativity.

Rain Garden nearing completion

On Monday, August 28, a group from the Cook County Chapter of Minnesota Interfaith Power and Light (MNIPL), in collaboration with The Cook County Master Gardeners worked into the evening to restore the rain garden along Highway 61 at the old entrance to the Gunflint Trail.
