Vikings tame the Mustangs and move on in the Section 7 nine-man bracket

It took the Vikings 22 seconds on a razzle-dazzle play to take the lead against Kelliher/Northome Mustangs in the first playoff game played at home on Tuesday, October 24. Macoy Fairbanks caught the kickoff and handed the ball to Amos Falter on a reverse, with Falter running it to the 43-yard line. On the first play from scrimmage, the Vikings lined up JV quarterback Nicholas Spry in the backfield along with Viking Quarterback Hunter Rex. The ball was snapped to Spry, who threw a long pass to a wide-open freshman wideout Macoy Fairbanks, who ran in untouched for a 57-yard score. The twopoint try failed, and the Vikings led 6-0.
