Wolf meets skunk James Egan’s dog-skunk encounter in his column of Oct 21, 2023 was very timely as my backyard trail camera had recently photographed a neighborhood wolf meeting a neighborhood skunk. He assumed (as had I when our dog got sprayed nearly 50 years ago) that the dog had approached the skunk from behind.
