Cook County Vikings football team rolls over Cass Lake-Bena
Cook County had little trouble with Cass Lake-Bena Panthers in their Friday, October 6 matchup, taking a 62-6 win at Cass Lake. Viking quarterback Hunter Rex only threw the ball four times, completing three passes for 82 yards and one touchdown.
Cook County Board of Commissioners actions for the October 10 meeting
Cook County Commissioners held a short but productive county board meeting on October 10. Cook County Highway Engineer Robbie Hass came with several agenda items before the board.

Periodically, the DNR provides a report of some of the miscreants the Conservation Officers (CO) have encountered. 1 cup meatless spaghetti sauce, divided 1 large egg, lightly beaten 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs 2 garlic cloves, minced 1-1/2 teaspoons dried rosemary, crushed 1 pound lean ground beef 8 ounces bulk Italian sausage 3 pieces string cheese In a large bowl, combine 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce, egg, bread crumbs, garlic and rosemary.
