Has your little one had their teeth checked yet? Have questions about oral health for infants and toddlers? The Early Childhood Connections Program is excited to announce our February Co-Host, the Oral Health Task Force. Dental Hygienist, Bonnie Dalin will be at the Community Center to answer questions, provide teeth checks and apply fluoride for anyone ages 18 months and older, February 3rd from 10 – 11:30 a.m.

DNR seeks private woodland owners to help expand forest inventory data
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is inviting private woodland owners with two or more acres of forested property to participate in a new effort to help improve and advance forest inventory across Minnesota.
Champagne Bonspiel bubbles over with excitement and fun!
The Cook County Curling Club held its annual Two Person Open Champagne Bonspiel this past weekend with five out-of-town teams participating in a pool of 10 teams who played a round-robin format. Glen and Yvonne Novak's team from the Duluth Curling Club took first place in the A-Event.
Cook County Nordic Invite
The scene was festive at the Pincushion trails on Tuesday morning. Buses filled the parking lot; colorful team tents dotted the stadium, the finish-line flags flapped in the breeze while spectators cheered throughout the course. At the beginning of January, it was unclear whether our annual home meet would be able to be held. But the stars aligned - we had enough snow to groom our Snowman loops and West Overlook, and the cold temperatures moderated enough to race safely.
