An Ode to Knees I’d like to focus on knees today, as they appear to be a limiting factor for me as well as many of my friends. I must admit, we’re no spring chickens, but we’re active and like to think of ourselves as young.

The “Stars and Stripes Mentor Program” and the “Memories of Mom” initiative improve care for Veterans and Residents we serve. Both were recognized as the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) Healthcare Division received two “Excellence in Practice” awards at the LeadingAge Minnesota annual conference on Feb.

What would Roger do?
As a thirty-year resident of Grand Marais, and someone who has benefited greatly from the Sawtooth Mountain Clinic over those years, I, like many Cook County residents am deeply concerned about recent events stemming from the North Shore Health Association leadership, and their punitive approach to the staff and overall health care system.
