Moose population stabilizing

The 23024 Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) aerial population survey for moose indicates that the population has stabilized at around 3,700 animals but is significantly down from the high of more than 8,840 moose in the 2006 peak count.

Bipartisan Wolf Management Bills introduced in Minnesota Congress

On February 19, Representative Lislegard (DFL) of Aurora, MN introduced House File 3903. This bill has two goals: to mandate an open wolf season once the gray wolf is federally delisted; and to establish the Northeast Deer Management Taskforce to develop effective and timely policies to increase deer populations in the northeastern part of the state. The bill is co-authored by Rep. Skraba (R) and Rep. Johnson (R). The companion bill in the Senate, SF3988, introduced on February 20, was authored by Senator Hauschild (DFL) from Hermantown, MN.

What is Truth?

TRUTH. What is it? We all want truth, but what is TRUTH? If something is true, it is unchanging, constant, trustworthy, and it is true for EVERYONE. It’s Men in Women’s Sports, Really

The response to Mr. Wizykoski opinion was interesting in the fact that first we have to identify him as a conservative and then we have to trash his points of reference as “divide and conquer”, anti-trans, and transphobic while offering up a more “correct” point of reference like the ACLU, Forbes and Sports Illustrated. (these are not exactly centrist organizations). Let’s face it, conservatives and liberals both can find support for there side of the aisle without having to search very far. Finding real truth today is a near impossible task.
