Hovland Townhall draws a big crowd to discuss local county road improvements
Last Thursday night, May 2, 51 people attended the Hovland Town Hall meeting to discuss road improvements to the Arrowhead Trail and Chicago Bay Road. Work isn't expected to begin until 2025, but folks had many questions about what would be done to improve the roads and possible changes to speed limits in at least one area.
Devil Track River will receive an Ojibwe name
Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MNDOT) will unveil the new Devil Track River sign on Thursday, May 16, at 11 a.m. on Highway 61, about four miles east of Grand Marais, at the Devil Track River Bridge.
