Stauber backed legislation to delist the gray wolf passes the House

The Trust the Science’s passage comes days before Stauber is set to host House Natural Resources Committee colleagues in Minnesota for a field hearing on the gray wolf. This week, the House of Representatives passed the Trust the Science Act, legislation Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08) cosponsored to permanently delist the gray wolf in the lower 48 states and ensure this decision is not subject to judicial review.

Conservation Officer Tales

Although the Cook County News-Herald knows that the majority of sportsmen and women are law-abiding folks, there are a few that run afoul of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Conservation Officers. Periodically, the DNR provides a report of some of the miscreants the Conservation Officers (CO) have encountered. The News-Herald shares these stories as a reminder to all to be safe and to follow the rules!

Corrections & Additions

Time to catch up on errors and omissions. The biggest correction goes to Eagle Mountain. After dissing it to less than 2,000 feet, I learned from an Eagle Mountain rescue that it is 2,301 feet above mean sea level. Still not an Alp or Rocky, but higher no the less.
