BRIAN LARSEN The Poplar River Snowmobile Bridge, destroyed by flooding in the spring of 2022, will be rebuilt using a variety of grant money and donations. Northland Construction of Duluth will replace the Poplar River Bridge at a lump sum price of $492,500.

BRIAN LARSEN Due to recent storm damage on portions of the race course, Life Time Fitness race officials shortened the Lutsen 99er to the 69er course. And no Larsons were in any of the races for the first time.
69er results Justin Hatcher, 45, Hayward, Wisconsin, beat everyone to the finish line at 5:07:08, averaging 14.48 mph over the muddy course. Becky Burdick, 52, Stone Lake, Wisconsin, placed first in the Women's Division at 9:38:36.
