Cleanup in full gear after fierce windstorm
The sound of chainsaws, accompanied by the hum of generators, could be heard throughout Cook County following the Monday, November 11 windstorm that tore through the area. Thousands of trees were down, and hundreds of people's power was interrupted through Monday and into Tuesday as winds as high as 60 mph were recorded.
