Kansas man drowns at Tettegouche State Park
A 25-year-old Overland Park, Kansas man drowned on July 4th at Tettegouche State Park.

WTIP wins Minnesota Society of Professional Journalists “Page One” Award
WTIP North Shore Community Radio has received an award for Breaking News Coverage for the story “Structure Fire Destroys Historic Lutsen Lodge Along Lake Superior,” produced by Kirsten Wisniewski and Kalli Hawkins. This live reporting from the site of the fire, aired the morning of February 6, 2024. The story also received a regional Edward R. Murrow award, and a firstplace award from the Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association Eric Sevareid Awards.
Deceased campers on Isle Royale identified
John Baird, 60, and Bradley Baird, 30, were found dead on June 8 in a remote campsite on Isle Royale National Park.
