Annual Memorial Weekend Veterans Celebration held

Under the leadership of Scott Benolken, a heartwarming tradition unfolds each year, inviting past and present members of the U.S. military to join in a memorable journey. Together, they traverse the back country roads of Cook County, either in their own off-road vehicles or in a vehicle from Cook County Tread Lightly's Off-Road Club, a community Benolken is proud to be a part of.

IRRR Board awards $13 million in economic development funding

On Tuesday, May 27, at the Iron Range Resources & Rehabilitation (IRRR) Board meeting, it was announced that an estimated $9.5 million in business loans and grants, $2.9 million in housing grants, $793,652 in infrastructure grants and $52,600 in trails grants were reviewed to advance projects in northeastern Minnesota.
