Last winter our community hosted a group of international journalists with the World Press Institute, and one of them, believe it or not, worked for the BBC as a “Disinformation Specialist.” What??? What is this world coming to? It’s interesting to note that there’s a difference between Misinformation and Disinformation. Misinformation is defined as inaccuracies that stem from inadvertent error, sort of like gossip based on a truth.
