Cece Chmelik, Grand Marais, qualified of the Hamline University College Liberal Arts Dean’s List for Spring 2023. Students must have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher and complete a minimum of 16 credit hours to make the Dean’s List.

The 17th Hovland Arts Festival draws well

More than 3,000 people attended the twoday semi-annual Hovland Arts Festival held at the Hovland Town Hall July 1 and 2 on a weekend blessed with beautiful weather. With 40 artists on hand displaying their work and wares there was a lot to look at and choose from.
