The 2025 Le Grand Du Nord was a race to remember, with entrants blessed with near-perfect riding conditions. The May 24 event saw temperatures in the mid-50s, minimal wind, and no rain, making it an ideal day for a bike race.
On Saturday, May 31, at 1 p.m., the Pam Taylor gymnasium was packed as friends and family came to see their favorite student(s) receive their high school diploma.
With spring in full swing, we’ve been busy! Notice all the bloom-filled planters around town? You can thank the Garden Club Team, lead by Linda Quick and Gan Mesenbring, who came prepared to help beautify our lovely city by doing the annual filling of the planters with colorful flowers. Our local community members, as well as our summer visitors, are sure to enjoy them right into fall!
Under the leadership of Viking Head Boys and Girls Track Coach April Wahlstrom, the Vikings have shown remarkable progress, posting their best seasons in years. Although no one made it to the state meet, the strong performances of our returning athletes are a testament to their hard work and dedication.
